Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a High-End Residential Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will coordinate with project teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. The Site Supervisor will also communicate with clients and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
Ability to manage and lead a construction team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in managing construction projects from start to finish
Ability to handle stressful situations and solve problems effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
Comfortable using construction management software
Highly skilled in performing construction layout and reviewing construction drawings
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Experience in high-end residential construction
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Able to ensure quality control of all aspects of the project
Able to perform layout for architectural & structural components of the project
Able to communicate with project team regarding RFI’s
Able to ensure subcontractors and in-house carpenters comply with the approved plans
Experience ensuring a safe job-site, adhering to all NYC DOB safety requirements
Able to identify and resolve conflicts in construction progress.
Maintain daily logs of activities on the job-site. This includes safety & compliance log books
Comfortable advising on and coordinating optimal work sequence across multiple trades
Able to plan, forecast & arrange for labor, tools, equipment, and other supplies needed to perform work
High-end residential renovation experience in NYC required
