Construction Licensed Site Super
Currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to fill an opening with a high-end residential general contractor located in NYC.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in managing New Construction, Renovations projects, Restoration Projects, Condo, Apartment, Residential Houses, in New York City boroughs.
Interested candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, and at least 2-3 years of that must be on high end and luxury residential work with a general contractor or construction management firm.
Responsibilities of the Licensed Site Supervisor
Must Have NYC DOB Licensed Site Superintendent License
Must be Experienced in site safety & have all qualification of OSHA 62
Must have knowledge in Filling out Log sheets, toolbox meetings,
Responsible for overseeing work of all trades (site work, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, steel, etc.)
Effectively manage on-site activities from demolition through to final punch list.
Manages staff and subcontractors by evaluating, monitoring and controlling performance.
Works with Project Manager to meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
Accomplishes construction project results by managing project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and subcontractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing codes.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Requirements of the Site Superintendent
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2-5 years of site supervisor experience required
2 years of luxury residential experience preferred
Must possess the knowledge and experience to direct construction-related personnel and interact with clients while successfully planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.
“Hands on” type, equally adept at managing a clean and safe job site and also contributing to the trades. Carpentry background preferred.
