Job Summary:
We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Station Manager to lead the operations and growth of our station. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinating with hosts, and driving the expansion of our programming. Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Board: Ensure seamless technical operation of the station’s board during live and pre-recorded sessions.
Host Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with hosts to support their needs and align with the station’s goals.
Scheduling Management: Oversee program scheduling, ensuring all slots are filled and pre-recorded content is completed and aired on time.
Highlight Hosts: Promote and spotlight hosts to build their audience and enhance program visibility.
Program Promotion: Develop and implement strategies to promote programs across social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
Podcast Development: Collaborate with the executive producer to conceptualize and launch new podcasts that align with our station’s vision.
Program Acquisition: Proactively secure 10 new programs within the next 12 months to diversify and expand our content offering.
Qualifications:
Experience in broadcasting, radio, or podcast production.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with board operation and technical aspects of broadcasting.
Creativity in promoting programs and engaging audiences.
Proven ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
Passion for innovative content and program development.
