Overview

RamGrows Financial is a fast growing business based in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to

empowering immigrant communities through accessible financial solutions. Our latest initiative,

NativeTaxPros, is a groundbreaking project to develop multilingual mobile apps and a fintech

environment for immigrant tax preparation services. We aim to transform the way immigrants

file taxes by providing accessible, user-friendly, and secure technology.We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paid Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of information technology and customer service. The ideal candidate will assist with various technical tasks while developing their skills in a supportive environment. This role is perfect for individuals looking to enhance their knowledge of computer systems, networking, and customer support.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of NativeTaxPros mobile applications

and associated fintech systems.

Build and manage a secure, scalable infrastructure for handling sensitive financial data.

Develop multilingual capabilities to cater to diverse user groups.

Integrate video calls, chat functionality, and secure document upload features into the

app.

Ensure compliance with U.S. financial and data security regulations.

Collaborate with the RamGrows Financial team to align the tech environment with

business goals.

Provide technical guidance and oversee the work of junior developers or contractors, if

applicable.

Assist in the management and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Linux environments.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing user inquiries and resolving technical issues.

Perform software troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of applications.

Support office staff with desktop support tasks, including hardware and software installations.

Help maintain computer hardware and assist with upgrades as needed.

Participate in computer networking tasks, including setup and configuration of network devices.

Document processes and solutions to contribute to the knowledge base for future reference.

Qualifications

Qualifications in API

Experience in mobile app development (iOS and Android).

Proficiency in fintech technologies and secure data handling.

Strong understanding of backend and frontend development.

Knowledge of integrating APIs for video, chat, and secure uploads.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux operating systems is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.

Basic understanding of software troubleshooting techniques.

Experience or coursework related to computer hardware management is a plus.

Knowledge of desktop support practices and principles is advantageous.

Understanding of computer networking concepts will be beneficial.

Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program.
