About Fort Greene Granola

We create thrilling, sensory-rich food experiences that evoke nostalgia, joy, and the magic of baseball memories. Our "Ballpark Classic" snack blends timeless stadium flavors like peanuts, caramel, pretzels, and sunflower seeds — and we need someone who can help us share its story with the world. Our artisanal superfood granolas, featuring organic ingredients from local family farms, transport customers to beautiful and thrilling places, present and past, producing sensory-rich experiences that make people feel more connected and fully alive.

Position Overview

Our Sales Specialist will be extremely important to our company. You’ll be selling our granola and our “Ballpark Classic” snack at farmers markets and popup events. You’ll be interacting with customers, passing out samples, and creating an amazing vibe and welcoming atmosphere for neighbors and customers alike. Above all, you’ll be showcasing our products with the excitement, nostalgia, and joy that embody our brand. Eventually, you’ll be entrusted with helping us expand our sales team as we grow. The role has significant growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

Selling our Granola and our Ballpark Classic snack at weekend Farmers Markets, popups, sports venues, and baseball-

related events

Taking payments, handling transactions, and responsibly reporting back to the company’s executive team

Engaging customers in meaningful conversations about baseball, food, and nostalgia

Setting up and breaking down our Granola Booth and tent

Contributing to our mission by suggesting new sales and marketing enhancements that evoke a sense of place, nostalgia, and

adventure

. Helping train additional salespeople as our company grows

We're Looking For Someone's Who:

Is excited to bring stories, experiences, and memories to life through taste

. Is outgoing, optimistic, and approachable with excellent conversational skills

Is a great listener who is non-judgmental and can carry a conversation with regular customers and strangers alike

Has at least one year of experience in a face-to-face sales role

Demonstrates presence and confidence

Believes in food's power to connect people

. Is creative and artistic, with fresh ideas for improving our Market Stand presentation

Is available Saturdays and Sundays
