Responsibilities
Computer- beginner computer skills with register to process drop off and pickup orders
Washing and drying: Sort laundry by color and fabric, and wash and dry items with commercial laundry equipment using the correct machine cycle.
Folding/wrapping: Fold laundry items and properly wrap laundry items for pickup or delivery service to customers.
Laundry Orders: Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information and creating invoices for laundry orders
Machine maintenance: Perform minor repairs to machines, and mark and log out-of-order machines
Customer service: Help customers with questions, handle transactions, and sell cleaning supplies
Stain treatment: Apply stain treatments to items using knowledge of fabrics, cleaning products, and chemical interactions
Work area maintenance: Keep the work area clean and sanitary, and replenish laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management
Skills and qualifications
Knowledge of laundry equipment and processes
Ability to operate laundry machinery safely
Attention to detail
Organization and time-management skills
