Bike shop seeks a sales representative for two days a week. You will have a set two days, during the week, approximate 9 hour shift each day. Previous bike store experience is very helpful, but not required. If you do not have any knowledge of bikes, an interest and willingness to learn is a MUST.
Responsibilities and qualifications:
-keep front of store clean and orderly
- help customers with questions and to find what they need
-checkout customers and complete transactions and keep an accurate cash drawer.
- assist with marketing (ex: taking pictures for social media, telling customers about promotions)
- assist the service center with creating work orders and communicating with customers
-knowledge of Lightspeed POS is a plus
-minimum 2 years in retail
-must have a willingness to learn new skills and be a proactive member of our team
- Some bike repair knowledge is a plus but not required
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift 30lbs.
