Assistant Property Manager
salary is 65-70k
Responsibilities:
Regular review of rent rolls, collection calls to tenants and rent history review and preparation.
Prepare and submit lease renewal forms to tenants, track return of signed forms, and follow-up to obtain all forms in a timely manner.
Work with outside attorneys to begin and pursue legal cases and to track each step of legal cases in Housing Court.
Review lease applications and prepare lease packages to sign up new tenants, prepare tax credit application packages, perform annual certifications for low-income housing tax credit tenants.
Comply with all regulatory requirements including window guard notices, lead paint forms, Multiple Dwelling Registrations, DHCR rent registrations, boiler registrations and violation corrections.
Administrative duties include picking up mail, ordering office supplies, requesting repairs of office equipment and filing of all documents.
Visit properties as needed to perform visual inspection
Bilingual Spanish a plus
