Job Description

A financial industry training company is seeking a part-time, remote administrative assistant. Are you a tech-savvy independent contractor looking for part-time work to supplement your income? This may be the perfect job for you. Flexible hours allow you to maintain your business while being part of our team.

Responsibilities

・Enter invoices, sales receipts, bills, pay bills and prepare quarterly sales tax reports using Quickbooks

・Order fulfillment through our BigCommerce shopping cart, receive orders by email or by phone

・Enroll clients in online materials using HostGator and proprietary website(s)

・Order supplies as necessary

・Help maintain the CEO's calendar when needed

・Flexibility to provide other assistance (answer phone calls, respond to client email requests, etc.)

Needed Skills:

・Comfort with Google Products such as Gmail, Calendar, and Drive

・Comfort with Quickbooks Online and third-party apps (BigCommerce for Quickbooks, Import Excel | CSV

・Business Importer, Online Back-up)

・Professional presentation and dependable

Skills that are a PLUS:

・Knowledge of the financial industry

・Comfort with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint

・Ability to automate redundant tasks

The job will generally be approximately 10+ hours per week, more or less, based on need.
