Job Description -
A growing New York City based Architectural / Decorative Interior Design Showroom seeks to hire a full time, in-office Office Assistant.
We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative duties. The Assistant will help with the showroom’s administrative and sales staff with tasks that would include but are not limited to the following: data entry and assisting in the office's day to day operations.
Responsibilities -
Answer inbound telephone calls & emails.
Answer phone / email inquiries and provide basic company information.
Preform clerical duties, take memos, manage and maintain files and organize documents.
Assist associates in ways that optimize customer service procedures.
Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
Requirements -
Experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Computer / Tech savvy.
