We are an electrical and plumbing trade school seeking a Job Placement Coordinator / Office Assistant to join our team. This position involves both job placement coordination and office assistance duties, providing support to our students and staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Placement Coordinator:
- Assist students in creating personalized resumes tailored to the electrical/plumbing industry.
- Reach out to electrical and plumbing companies' HR departments to understand their hiring needs.
- Forward students' resumes to potential employers and set up interviews.
- Follow up with students and companies regarding interview results and feedback.
Office Assistant:
- Answer incoming phone calls and address general inquiries.
- Assist instructors by making copies of exams and other instructional materials.
- Provide general support to students, helping them with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate resources.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred, but not required).
Schedule:
- 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Mon - Fri
Pay Rate:
- $16 to $36 based on related experience
