Leading NYC Event Entertainment company is seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant/Admin/Office Manager. Experience in the event, entertainment, or hospitality world a MUST.

We are full service entertainment production company, specializing in live music for special events, Unique Talent and Event Production. Since 1993, we have produced thousands of corporate events, ranging from Product Launches, and Marketing and Promotional Events to Formal Galas and Award Banquets. Our exclusive roster of talent is also one of the most sought-after resources for luxury Weddings and private events around the world.

Working side by side with the President of the company on a daily/hourly/minute by minute basis, you'll be expected to make quick decisions, multitask like you've never multitasked before, and stay organized (and keep organized and on-time!) to keep the machine rolling along. It's a small office environment with a musical performance space as well, and so it's a fun atmosphere. This means you'll need to have a sense of humor above all else. We like to keep it loose, but at the same time, we run a thriving business at the pinnacle of the industry and we know how to keep the perfect balance of enjoying what we do, but getting things done for our clients. So should you.

The top priorities of the job will include Administrative Duties. So this means you should be a ROCK STAR when it comes to the "Google Environment". Our office runs on it. Google docs, google sheets, google calendar, etc. We also have a sophisticated totally custom Database/Scheduling program that will take some learning, but you will be living in that program 24/7, and will need to master it. (Don't worry we'll teach you that!). Keeping our office humming along depends on this. All leads have to get entered, and all paperwork (contracts and invoices etc) have to go out. This will fall on you and this is no joke. It's fast paced and no room for any errors. This is mission critical and job #1. You'll also be scheduling appointments, speaking to clients (so being personable, outgoing and "engaging" is an absolute MUST). Also categorized under administrative duties, is the role of "office manager", which means that keeping the space organized, clean, and running efficiently will fall on you. We don't take this responsibility lightly either.

You'll also be assisting the other team members in the office, while keeping the office organized, but with the main focus on assisting the President of the Company. Thus, the job description of "Executive Assistant" is very much a BIG part of this role, probably the biggest. This means that common, everyday errands may be asked of you. Even personal errands of a business nature so he can do Presidential things and keep the lights on in the office. This also means that you'll need to be "accessible" and "reachable" all the time. So if you're the type of person that will get annoyed with "after hours" texts or calls, this job ain't for you.

The job is a FULL TIME position and then some. This means that we work late many nights. And we're out on events all the time, cause that's what we do! So this means you'll be expected to work full time and occasionally even more. Pay is fair, but with more room for growth. This is a great position for someone looking to get more experience in the entertainment and event production industry, but if you already have experience in this field, even better. Our last assistant in this role moved on to be one of our best full time event producers.

Lastly, our company works with VERY high-end clients and so we're always dealing with extremely fashionable, interesting, cultured, and demanding clientele. That means we have to walk the walk as well. We expect you to be highly fashionable, with a worldly attitude, but at the same time humble.
