Our client, a well know retailer, located by Rockefeller Center, is seeking a Long Term Temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position is 5 days on site, with the hours guaranteeing a 37.5 work week.Responsibilities:Following established guidelines and file architecture principles, review all files to determine if they should be maintained or discarded.Establishing a new file system architecture that is clearly labeled and organized for all retained files.Entering customer data on spreadsheets.Cross checking the relevancy and accuracy of data to ensure its integrity.Using templates but requiring some independent thinking, creating reports and presentations in PowerPoint and Excel for clients.Qualifications:College degree preferred but not required2+ years' related experience providing administrative project support in a corporate, professional settingPC LiterateExcellent computer skills including but not limited to Excel, Word, OutlookWritten and oral communication skillsFile management/architecture best practicesInterpersonal skillsBusiness etiquetteOrganizational skillsDiscretionConfidentialityPrioritizationAttention to detailDatabase maintenanceOrder entryTypingPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk; to write and perform data entry on a desktop computer. The employee is occasionally required to sit/walk/bend; lift and/or carry no more than 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, frequent reading. The noise level in the work environment is usually low. The normal work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
