Brooklyn Based Not for Profit has the following Summer openings:
The SYEP Site Monitor will support the team in creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. This position will serve as a main point of contact for work site employers and program participants ages 16-24. The primary responsibilities will include: data entry, maintaining files, contacting program participants and worksites, conducting participant interviews, monitoring worksites and providing overall support to the SYEP staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position entails traveling daily to different locations.
Always maintain a professional attitude and manner that reflects the high standards of the program and organization you serve and represent.
Conduct weekly worksite visits to check-in with participants and conduct written worksite assessments. Visits are to ensure a safe and productive work environment for SYEP program participants and employer satisfaction.
Retrieval of Weekly Timesheets, Evaluations and Job Placement referrals for each participant.
Maintain well-documented reports to comply with DYCD SYEP and agency funding requirements.
Conduct participant and worksite file audits to check for completeness and accuracy.
Develop a strong, professional relationship with the SYEP participants and worksite supervisors.
Demonstrate appropriate boundaries with participants, worksites, and co-workers.
Assist with resolving any SYEP Worksite/Participant issues and incidents. Report issues/incidents immediate to your immediate IACRL supervisor.
Attend all job-related trainings and meetings.
