Join our team as an Inventory Coordinator and play a vital role in our Brooklyn manufacturing operations. From expediting production to managing inventory and ensuring seamless workflow, you'll pull parts, organize trays, and maintain accurate stock records. Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of fast-paced manufacturing inventory management experience, adept at prioritizing tasks and handling urgent requests.

2. Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy in tracking inventory levels, locations, and order fulfillment.

3. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with production teams and stakeholders.

4. Analytical mindset with experience in inventory data analysis and making recommendations.

5. Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems like SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite, adaptable to new technologies.

6. Expertise in setting inventory levels, reorder points, and managing safety stock.

7. Track record of using performance metrics to identify operational improvement opportunities.

8. Proven problem-solving skills in resolving inventory stockouts or shortages.

9. Skilled in implementing warehouse process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

10. Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

The Duties of the Position Encompass but not be limited to:

1. Supporting the flow of work within or between departments in the manufacturing plant to expedite production and meet deadlines by pulling inventoried parts.

2. Pull inventoried parts from a bill of materials and organize trays of parts for Manual Fabrication orders, Finishing orders, and Assembly Orders based on the REMI production schedule.

3. Pull replacement part orders for parts damaged during the manufacturing process based on the Replacement Part orders.

4. Intake parts from manufacturing orders, finishing orders, and outsource vendor orders following the arrival and quality control process.

5. Stock parts on shelves with appropriate protection, maintaining clear and accurate labeling using the ERP location system.

6. Maintain Kanban stock of components to ensure a smooth and continuous production flow.

7. Unload trucks and other incoming shipments efficiently and safely.

8. Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized, vacuuming floors and shelves bi-weekly.

9. Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

10. Ensure accurate stock information is maintained in the ERP system.

11. Assist the Operational Buyer and Procurement Manager with various requests and tasks.

12. Report any issues or discrepancies to the Procurement Manager promptly.

13. Contribute to the execution of improvements in warehouse operations and inventory management.

14. Proactively bring forward new ideas that enhance departmental and company performance in achieving “On time, on quality, and on budget” goals.
