Small Westchester law firm seeks admitted, experienced New York trial attorney for second chair responsibilities at a civil trial scheduled in Westchester Supreme for mid-May 2024 and another matter with trial date likley in spring 2025. No research or drafting required. Must have conducted several civil matter bench and jury trials in New York courts and have significant expertise with evidentiary objections.
Will be compensated for pre-trial prep and with a minimum payment in case of last minute settlement before or at the start of trial.
While someone based in the NYC metro area is a strong preference – we would also consider doing pre-trial prep via Zoom and would contribute towards the cost of overnight hotel accommodations, if for example, you are located in Albany, or similar location. Please send a resume and several NYSCEF case numbers citations or other written evidence of your having a significant trial role. ( it is OK if your client lost – in this case it is your experience that counts and not your prior results at trial or on appeal)
