Paralegal/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Seeking MOTIVATED English/Spanish Paralegal for a small, but growing, personal injury firm. Duties include the following: Interviewing and screening prospective clients; Gathering information from clients about their injuries; Researching medical records and accident reports; Understanding medical terminology, common injuries, and basic human anatomy; Preparing legal documents such as Responses to Bill of Particulars requests, Combined demands, complaints, motions, and deposition summaries; Assisting lawyers with trial preparation by organizing exhibits; Aiding with client meetings, submitting motions, researching legal publications, and coordinating witnesses; Ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records for preparing factual response to discovery; Supporting settlement conferences and mediation to avoid.
