We run a small, really tight team of passionate litigators dedicated to championing the rights of severely struggling small business owners on shoestring budgets. It's a challenging task, but one that can be accomplished. We tirelessly advocate for our clients, often turning the tide in their favor and safeguarding their livelihoods. We are now seeking an experienced commercial litigator to join us as Of Counsel. The pay is $50/hr.
Responsibilities:
Advise on litigation strategy
Take depositions
Argue motions
Try cases (from time to time)
Optionally draft pleadings
Be willing to train/teach other attorneys
Requirements:
Expertise in civil procedure and litigation strategy
Ability to provide guidance on complex procedural and strategic issues
Recent litigation experience on NYSCEF and/or Pacer
Preferably recent experience at a firm with more than one lawyer
