We are currently seeking a dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to join our Brand new neighborhood pharmacy team. We are located in a diverse immigrants neighborhood.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to pharmacy practice.
Provide guidance and support to the pharmacy team, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications.
Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor stock levels, and manage medication ordering and returns.
Maintain and update patient profiles, medication records, and other necessary documentation.
Counsel patients on the appropriate use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
Implement and enforce quality control and quality assurance measures.
Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice, new medications, and treatment guidelines.
Qualifications:
A valid pharmacist license in New York
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Familiar with BestRx system (we are willing to train)
Fluent in Chinese (cantonese or mandarin) spoken or listen preferred
New grads are welcome
Major holidays pay
Flexible schedule (35 hrs minimum per week)
Year end bonus based on performance
60 to 65 per hour (negotiable)
