Well established Optometry practice in the Kingsbridge/Riverdale area of the Bronx is looking to hire an enthusiastic associate to join our team. We are a busy neighborhood practice performing eye exams, as well as fitting of glasses and contact lenses.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Checking patients in and out
- Working with patients to schedule appointments
- Verifying insurance eligibility
- Answering calls and directing them as needed
- Maintaining accurate records in the office database
- Helping with pre-testing procedures
- Helping with selection of glasses
We are looking for a team member who has a pleasant, easy going personality, professional demeanor as well as strong communication and customer care skills. Experience in the optical or doctor’s office is preferred, however will train the right individual. Spanish speaking a plus
