Our growing Family Practice is looking for a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to help our team in case presentation and acceptance. This individual will also be cross-trained to be the future assistant office manager.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
Maintaining manageable and productive schedules
Meeting collection and production goals
Ensuring a high conversion rate and proper follow through on all case presentations
Recording, reporting, and tracking case presentation result. Following up on pending treatment plans
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for treatment
Educate patients on treatment options, financial obligations, and insurance benefits
Assist with billing and collections, including processing payments and submitting insurance claims
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information in electronic health record systems (Dentix Ascend)
Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Responsibilities:
Communicating results and updating manager on progress throughout the day
Managing your workflow throughout the day in efforts to work efficiently so you can complete tasks in a timely fashion
Understand Dental Insurance process, billing, pre authorizations, eligibility
Knowledge of PPO insurance
Experience:
Previous experience the dental office setting preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of dental front office experience.
Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and record keeping.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
