Mediterranean upscale restaurant in Upper East side is hiring a Server ,waiter or waitress.
- Five years of serving experience in Nyc is a must.
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized front end area, including checkout lanes and displays
- Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing merchandise as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of perishable items
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in fine dinning , five years service role .
- Knowledge of banquet, hospitality, catering, or food service industry is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
