Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Server to join our distinguished fine dining team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and personalized service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of food and beverage, impeccable attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service: Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish.

Menu Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the menu, including all food and beverage offerings, daily specials, and wine pairings to provide accurate recommendations to guests.

Order Taking: Accurately take orders from guests, ensuring clarity and attention to special requests, dietary restrictions, or preferences.

Table Setup & Presentation: Set and reset tables to the restaurant’s high standards, ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and ready for service.

Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the correct order is delivered to the correct guest, with attention to presentation and timing.

Guest Relations: Anticipate guest needs and ensure they are met promptly, resolving any issues or concerns in a calm and professional manner.

Suggestive Selling: Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and special offers to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized, including cleaning and maintaining tables, utensils, and dining areas during service.

Follow Health & Safety Standards: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails, with the ability to suggest pairings and make recommendations to guests.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with micros POS systems

Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and fine dining etiquette.

Formal hospitality or culinary training is an advantage.
