We are seeking the above position to join our small, vibrant team. A golden opportunity for the right candidate, in a growing company.

Includes running the door, maximizing the seating of the room, and making sure the guest experience is top notch, along with managing the staff during the shift, opening and closing the restaurant, and taking full responsibility in the absence of the GM. A strong knowledge of food, wine, beer and spirits, is essential. The successful candidate will have a warm, friendly personality, with the ability to lead by example, and a "can do" attitude. The ability to handle a stressful environment with grace and poise, is essential. Excellent bar knowledge is a plus.

Ideal candidates possesses:

-Minimum of 3+ years of NYC hospitality experience

-A passion for food and quality service

-Comfort in a high-volume/fast-paced environment

-Strong communication skills

-Able to work under pressure, team player

-Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual

-Flexible hours are required (able to work nights, weekends, holidays)

- Minimum of four PM shifts required starting at 4pm-5pm, closing between 11pm-2am depending on the day.

Excellent ability to lead and manage guest expectations, a gracious attitude in dealing with staff and guests, alike. Experience running a busy door (Resy experience helpful), ability to maximize seatings and control the room. Excellent service skills, and the ability to train and nurture the staff. Superior knowledge of F&B.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Opening and/or closing the restaurant depending on shift.

Following opening and closing procedures, and monitoring side work.

Ability to follow instructions for the ambience of the establishment in setting lighting, sound levels, temperature, and making sure the space always looks on point.

Making sure staff are delivering the optimal guest experience.

Effectively handling any guest issues/ complaints during service.

Leading pre-shift meetings to prepare staff for the shift.

Training and Educating Staff

Knowing all house policies and protocols and enforcing accordingly.

Daily reports/ shift summaries.

Ability to bartend and do bar inventory/ ordering.

HR knowledge of effectively dealing with any staff issues.

Handling close out reports/ cash. Reporting- shift reports and weekly reports to owners/ GM.

Ability to lift 25lb.
