Established cocktail bar and restaurant is seeking a part time/full time office manager with at least 2 years of NYC restaurant and/or admin experience.
Our ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, is organized, detail oriented, creative in tackling different types of tasks and comfortable making decisions. The office of a restaurant is fast-paced and requires a diverse set of skills to address a wide array of situations that arise. For the right candidate, this hands-on office job will be quite rewarding.
Duties include:
Assist the Operations team with Administrative duties and work closely with the General Manager, floor managers and restaurant staff.
Maintain all office systems
Create or assist with reservations for private bookings, events, and dinner reservations
Data Entry, Invoice management, basic bookkeeping
Order all Office Supplies as well as FOH supplies and Kitchen products. Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
Manage telephone inquiries and email correspondence in a professional manner.
Responsible for managing cash banks, making purchases and basic bookkeeping. Prepare cash reconciliations, POS reports, and prepare deposits.
Distribute pay checks and tips to staff.
Corresponds with guests to answer special requests or questions regarding the restaurant.
Maintains office operations: managing filing systems, reviewing and approving supplies, completing clerical functions, and cleaning/organizing office as needed.
New Hire Onboarding and Orientation. Assist with Recruitment of new staff. Address HR Issues as they arise.
Ensures that employees follow company policies and procedures. And communicate with staff regarding these policies.

Proficiency of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite, Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
Fluent in both written and spoken English. Fluent in Spanish a plus.
Previous restaurant experience preferred
