Are you a seasoned bartender with a passion for leadership? We're seeking a dynamic Lead Bartender with extensive experience in the NYC bar/restaurant scene to join our team. This individual should be willing and able to spearhead our bar operations, from inception to excellence. We're looking for someone with the knowledge to help us get bar operations in place as we head swiftly toward a soft opening (mid-July 2024).

Responsibilities:
Recipe Development: Craft and innovate a diverse yet simple range of cocktails with precision, adhering to our high-quality standards. Do you make an exceptional Martini? Negroni? Old Fashioned? We’re not trying to re-invent the wheel. Our goal is to develop and deliver classic cocktails consistently.
Team Leadership: Help supervise and train bartending staff, ensuring consistency in drink preparation, service, and guest interaction. No hiring/firing power, though you will be considered when it comes to decision-making related to bar operations.
Bar Operations: Alongside management, oversee bar operations including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
Requirements:
NYC Bar Experience: Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in notable NYC bars or restaurants.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team, with experience in training and development.
Mixology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and current industry trends.
Bar Procedures: Experience in overall bar setup and opening/closing procedures.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Transportation: Red Hook is a bit off the beaten path. Please ensure you have reliable transportation before applying.
