Santa Fe BK is ever growing and we're looking to Early Morning Tortilla Maker
We are bringing the Land Of Enchantment to the County Of Kings, serving authentic New Mexico flavors in North Brooklyn. Local mom & pop owned restaurant practicing equitable pay structure. Our restaurant is famous for our breakfast burrito program and comfort New Mexican dinner service.
We press our flour tortillas fresh daily (declared #1 flour tortillas by New York Magazine!) and we are currently looking for a part time early morning (your start time will be 5am) tortilla maker. This entails making dough, pressing dough into tortillas, thoroughly cleaning equipment and machinery involved, dishes, and helping with prep.
Experience with baking/pizza dough/making tortillas and prep cook are a huge plus! You must have experience working in a kitchen for a minimum of two years.
We are willing to train the right person - we prioritize individuals who are reliable (must have consistent and dependable transportation early morning hours), punctual, have a high sense of responsibility, have great communication skills, have a positive attitude and are flexible. Looking for the right fit for our team is of the utmost importance to us! Most of our employees are long timers and would love to hire someone who are looking for longevity with room for advancement.
