The Bar Manager is responsible for the daily operations of our bar, which include crafted cocktails, local craft beer, and a selection of wines from around the world. With serious experience and passion for spirits and cocktails, the person in this role is a creative driver of our cocktail program. The Bar Manager spends significant time on the floor leading the team and developing exceptional relationships with guests. Administrative tasks may include scheduling, hiring, training and development for hourly team members, daily financial reporting, controlling costs as directed by senior leadership, vendor relations, ordering, and inventory. We expect the person in this position to enjoy collaboration, have empathy, patience under pressure, superior training abilities, a dedication to excellence, and be proactive, self-motivated and solutions oriented. As with all our managers, this person understands that work should be fun!
Must have 3-5 years of solid Bar Manager experience. $30-$35 per hour for the first 90-days. Must have TIPS certification and NYC DOH Food Handlers is a plus. Potential higher opportunity and company growth after 90-days including benefits.
