Fine Dining Restaurant in Midtown is seeking Full time Busser/Barista to work variety of shifts.
The Barista is responsible for setting up and stocking coffee work stations. The Barista is to maintain a neat and safe work area. Set up the coffee station and back off the house according to restaurant standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete assigned side work i.e. stocking all coffees, teas, frothing tools, demi-tasse, demi-spoons, half and half, milk, skim milk, spoons and all saucers needed.
Polish silver coffee trays, coffee pots and cream & sugar settings before each service.
Maintain freshness of products used i.e. coffee, dairy, etc.
Participate in all required meetings i.e. pre-meal and general meetings.
Keep manager informed of any maintenance problems or shortage of supplies.
Monitor your coffee supplies.
Fill out par sheets for stocking at the end of each shift.
Fill out inventory sheet and turn in to the receiver for ordering new product.
Stock food and beverage items.
Prepare mise-en place for shift.
Prepare all styles of coffee and serve them if necessary.
