We are a busy Caribbean takeout restaurant looking for a dedicated Cleaner & Prep Cook to join our team! This is a full-time position where the primary focus is cleaning, with some kitchen prep duties. If you’re organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you!
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
Wash dishes and maintain an organized dishwashing area
Prep food items for the chef, including cutting vegetables and meats
Assist with preparing ingredients for the next day’s service
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Lift and move supplies up to 40 pounds
Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times
Requirements:
Must be clean, organized, and reliable
Comfortable with more cleaning than cooking duties
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Must be able to lift 40 pounds comfortably
Experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
