Tampopo Kitchen, located at 805 West 187th Street, a Japanese Sushi and Udon Noodle Shop in Hudson Heights is hiring for the position of Cashier. We are seeking team oriented hard workers that enjoy a fast paced environment with good communication skills. We can currently offer Part Time but availability must include lunch hours (11am - 4pm) and dinner hours (5-10pm.) Must speak fluent English. Spanish is a plus, but not essential. This position pays on the books. Social security and all proper paperwork required. The pay will have a base hourly salary and will receive a portion of tips as well.
Duties include:
-Cash Handling
-Using multiple POS systems for dine in and delivery services
-Packing Delivery Bags
-Tracking orders and organizing the station to ensure order accuracy
-Communication with servers and cooks
-Restocking supplies for the front of house station
-answering phone calls
-supporting the server(s) such as food running and bussing
-Communicating with Delivery Drivers
