Searching for Kitchen Crew Members to work in TALEA’s taproom in Bryant Park. This position is perfect for baristas, prep cooks or porters looking for a change of pace. There is no grill or fryer involved!
This position is part time and takes place in the evenings after 3pm.
About Us
TALEA’s brewery and taproom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn opened in March 2021. We are NYC’s only female-founded production brewery. TALEA operates three other taprooms, one in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, and the recently opened taprooms in Manhattan’s West Village and Bryant Park. Our hospitality-focused experience showcases our signature low-bitterness, fruit-forward beers, boasts unique beer cocktails, and features a small, beer-friendly food program. The Role
TALEA is looking for eager, hard workers to join our team. The kitchen role is an integral part of our taproom experiences. Our kitchen program is simple yet critical to our guest experience, requiring plating and food prepping, with attention to details, organization and consistency a must.
As a member of the nimble TALEA team, you’ll be joining a growing company and working closely with the General Manager, Taproom Managers and Head of Hospitality. Responsibilities
Punctual, responsible and able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization
A love for quality, organization and order
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Food and ingredient knowledge
Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly
Able to stand on your feet for long hours
Stay up to date on all menu changes
Communicate thoughtfully, respectfully, and efficiently with coworkers and customers
Maintain a positive outlook and professional behavior under pressure
Requirements
Excited about TALEA’s vision, and obsessed with customer satisfaction
Enthusiastic and comfortable working for an early-stage company in a rapidly changing environment
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and self-disciplined, you take initiative and work autonomously
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Compensation
This role is $20/h
