Busy beer garden located in heart of Williamsburg is looking for a Grill Master with at least 3 years of experience to join our energetic team.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, high quality restaurant (experience in NYC an asset)
Experience working all stations
Minimum 3 years’ experience with DOH regulations, “A” level cleanliness expected
Minimum 3 years’ experience with inventory best practices: FIFO, stock rotation and storage
Experience cooking chicken, lamb, pork and steak
Maintain cleanliness in kitchen when orders lax and/or as required
DOH certified
Job Requirements:
Available to work days / nights / weekends / holidays
Excellent communication skills
Must be punctual and reliable
Positive and energetic attitude as part of a diverse team
Willing and eager to learn new techniques under our Head Chef
Able to adapt to menu changes and specific requests to cater to allergy, gluten deficiencies, vegan/vegetarian lifestyles etc.
Must be focused on their work and not easily distracted
Pay:
For the right candidate it is negotiable and will be based on experience
