Seven Grams Caffé is a premium coffee roastery and artisanal bakery with three locations in NYC (Flatiron, West SoHo, and Chelsea). We’ve made New York Magazine’s “What to Eat, Drink, and Read Right Now” list, and have been dubbed “irresistible” by The New York Times. Most importantly, we live, breathe, and dream coffee. We roast every single bean, we work on custom-made La Marzoccos, we serve the perfect cortados, and we take great pride in our carefully-selected bean portfolio. As our brand continues to rapidly grow, we’re looking for a talented and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team!
What makes our dream Assistant Manager?
- You can jump right in and make the perfect cortado. That means you have at least one year experience in a specialty coffee environment, that you can operate a manual espresso machine like La Marzocco in your sleep, and that you can produce some mean latte art.
- You’re a leader that others get behind. You exude a positive attitude that is absolutely contagious. You build people up and you always keep spirits up.
- You can expertly manage the floor. You’re a true doer who can execute to the T. You’re proactive, creative, and have a strong attention to detail.
- You’re fun to work with and to be around. We’d be happy to wake up early in the morning to work a shift with you, and you’ll always provide our customers with a friendly and welcoming experience.
- You have ‘OPEN’ availability (available to work Mondays thru Sundays between 6am-8pm).
- You have New York Food Handlers’ Certificate.
Compensation and Perks:
- Highly competitive hourly compensation, which includes both hourly wage and shift tips range- $27-$29 gross per hr.
