Club Quarters Times Square is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
+Assist the Housekeeping Manager in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
+Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with quality +standards.
+Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance departments to address guest requests and resolve any issues promptly.
+Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
+Assist in scheduling and managing labor costs in line with budgetary guidelines.
+Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
+Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
+Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to the housekeeping team.
+Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures.
+Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
+Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel setting.
+Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
+Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
+Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
+Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
+Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and housekeeping management software.
+Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints with tact and professionalism.
+High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
