JOB OVERVIEW – Assistant Front Office / Housekeeping Manager

Responsible for assisting in the overall operations of the Front Office department. Front Office operations include the front desk, bell, concierge and night audit. Responsible for the management of front office associates and ensuring standard operating procedures are maintained. Provides high quality guest service while generating maximum revenue for the department.

Plans the work for the housekeeping department and distributes assignments accordingly.

Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department.

Oversee the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas and associated facilities assigned to the housekeeping department.

Knowledge of and ability to adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, safety standards including OSHA and blood borne pathogen and grooming standards.

Ensures that accurate and timely information on room status is communicated to the housekeeping office and front desk and that proper documentation is maintained.

Keeps Executive Housekeeper and management informed of any problems.

Inspects rooms daily for maintenance and cleanliness issues.

Organize inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.

Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures

Job Requirements

Be passionate of growth and development in hospitality services.

Hotel Management qualification, preferred.

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.

Advance in Opera.

3 years of demonstrated professional development in key leadership roles with hospitality organizations, managing large full service luxury or resort operations.

Diploma in Hospitality Management.

Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, housekeeping and food and beverage linens, public restrooms, lobby, are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
