Assistant Restaurant Manager

Join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager (AM) and play a key role in supporting branch management in effectively overseeing the operations of our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or similar establishments. The AM is responsible for ensuring the restaurant is maintained to high operational standards, fully staffed, and ready to deliver exceptional service to our customers. Following established policies and procedures, the AM makes critical management decisions to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute opening, daily, and closing procedures per company guidelines.

- Support the General Manager (GM) in overseeing associates' daily activities and ensuring smooth operations in multiple restaurant locations.

- Participate in the recruitment process, provide input on hiring decisions, and recommend status changes for associates.

- Delegate tasks, create schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.

- Monitor breaks and meal periods for all team members.

- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of display areas and equipment.

- Operate cash register, follow cash handling procedures, and uphold cash security protocols.

- Promote wellness and safety practices, report any concerns to the GM, and ensure compliance with regulations.

- Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices for individual units.

- Maintain up-to-date contact information for all restaurant associates.

Requirements:

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including opening, busy day parts, and closing shifts throughout the week.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety standards, including HACCP compliance.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service.

- At least six months of supervisory experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting.

- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow instructions and policies.
