Great opportunity for a support engineer looking to gain high end helpdesk experience and advance a career in systems support engineering with internal growth opportunities.The systems support engineer will be acting as a point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance for their newly received laptops. They will assist users remotely setting up their machines in mixed home environments. Analyst will operate with a help first mentality, and have expert written and verbal communication skills. location: NEW YORK, New Yorkjob type: Contractsalary: $25 - 31 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Responsibilites include:- Acting as a point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance for their newly received laptops
- Assist users remotely setting up their machines in mixed home environments
- Troubleshooting skills required for hardware, software (basic), and networking issues
- Experience using a ticketing system, updating tickets, routing tickets, etc. Using Jira would be a plus.
- Worked previously to provide qualitative customer service in addressing and resolving issues
- Quick responsiveness to customer support requests
- Effectively using a knowledge base and other tools to diagnose and resolve issues;
- Diligently creating and maintaining knowledge base as appropriate;
- Exercising time management
- Help Desk experience is a must
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
- JIRA (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Helpdesk (2 years of experience is preferred)
