In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.Wells Fargo Securities, LLC seeks a Securities Research Associate in New York, NY.Job Role and Responsibility : Perform highly complex activities related to creation, implementation, documentation, validation, articulation and defense, and on-going maintenance of complex models grounded in highly complex statistical theory used to quantify, analyze and manage markets; Utilize structured securities and provide expertise on theory and mathematics behind the data; Develop expertise on companies in the Internet Services sector; Write research reports on key company updates and industry themes; Create and update financial models and databases; Attend company and industry events; cultivate relationships with covered companies and industry contacts; Communicate team views on covered companies with internal and external constituents; Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; Manage market, credit, and operational risks to forecast losses and compute capital requirements; Identify structure to include global assessments, inclusive of technical, audit and market perspectives. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.Travel required: NoneRequired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field. Position requires 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role in financial services.Specific skills required:

2 years of Securities Research experience or related experience in financial services.

2 years of advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, VBA Macros, and investment tools including Bloomberg or FactSet applications.

1 year of experience with the US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles in a capacity within the capital markets industry.

1 year of experience analyzing the digital advertising industry and web scraping.

1 year of experience analyzing public companies within the US Internet sector and publishing reports based on conclusions from assessing earnings impacts and sensitivities, macro-economic impacts as well as corporate actions such as mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing.

1 year of experience analyzing financial statements including 10Q/K SEC filings, investor presentations, industry reports and data from relevant trade associations, and earnings transcripts; conducting data-driven research projects that examine industry growth and competitive dynamics, including regulatory developments; and, interacting with senior management of companies under coverage

1 year of experience with three-statement financial modeling to forecast companies' fundamental financial factors and to conduct detailed valuation analysis
