The Product Specialist Team ("PS") provides oversight and guidance for a host of Front Office functions so that Trading can focus on servicing their clients. PS are specialized and experienced so that complex situations arising in lending and trading are handled in a controlled environment.As an Associate within the Product Specialist team, you will work closely with Origination to close out newly issued deals.Job Responsibilities:
Gathering pricing information/common codes
Working with Legal on rep letters and legal opinions
Coordination with DTC and placement agent
Organizing closing calls and managing invoices
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
2+ years of Fixed income, CLO's and/or Secondary Loans
Series 7 & 63 will be required (exams can be taken post offer acceptance)
Creative problem solver with ability to perform well under pressure
Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative abilities
Strong team player that Is detail oriented with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control
Effective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clients
Bachelors degree
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Strong understanding of Excel, Bloomberg, Tableau and any coding language a plus
