About the RoleThe Personal Injury Attorney plays a key role in maximizing the value of personal injury and medical malpractice cases while delivering superior client service. Working alongside experienced attorneys and support staff, this individual will contribute to case success, uphold the firm’s reputation, and maintain a high level of integrity and enthusiasm.Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with legal teams to provide exceptional client service, ensure efficient case flow, and maximize case value.
Work with experts and senior attorneys to evaluate case merits and develop case strategies.
Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, non-party witnesses, and other third parties.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, expert exchanges, and legal correspondence.
Prepare for and participate in trials.
Build a strong professional reputation, fostering relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
Experience: 3–6 years of experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice law. Plaintiff-side experience preferred, but defense-side candidates will also be considered.
Skills: Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities, along with a commitment to exceptional client service.
Licensure: Must be admitted to practice law in New York State and in good standing. Admission to NYS federal courts is a plus.
