OVERVIEWThe Marketing & Sales Associate - Beauty will support the beauty business product development and marketing strategy and execution. The Marketing & Sales Associate will support the GM and collaborate with brand’s cross functional teams to develop products and marketing programs to support beauty awareness and growth initiatives for DTC and Wholesale. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES·Product Development:Support the planning, coordination and execution of new product and creative development process to ensure deadlines are met on time with sharp accuracy and attention to detail in collaboration with internal, and external teams.· Manage product development timelines and deliverables, ensuring milestones are achieved.· Support the creation of new product launch documents to include product briefs and specifications.· Organize and maintain internal product submission and creative libraries including comps, mods, packaging, electronic assets, competitive samples, etc,· Review/proof artwork files and maintain artwork and master data files· Coordinate product design and product status meetings with prep, agenda, notes, and recaps · Conduct focus groups and surveys, and research and report on product/ingredient trends, consumer trends, innovation, and competitive activities, and make recommendations·Brand and Trade Marketing:Assist in creating and executing marketing strategies to build beauty brand awareness and drive sales across DTC and wholesale. Ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints including product design, merchandising, marketing, digital, and education experiences. Be a trusted resource for information, partnership and support. · Assist in 360 marketing activation planning and execution · Support presentation deck development for market meetings and go to market strategy · Create creative briefs for marketing and creative assets, events and programs · Create agendas, meeting notes and action items · Support brand messaging process from product naming, copy, storytelling, etc· Support beauty PR, influencer partnerships and social programming and execution. · Support analysis of new launches and campaign learnings ·Account Management: Be a key partner in Sephora account management, supporting omni merchandising and retail activations (social/digital/vm) to grow brand reach and revenue. · Support Sephora account management with communication and relationship management · Create and manage briefs, timelines and deliverables – execute and track with cross-functional team.· Assist the development and execution of 360 marketing activations, events, sampling and education. · Assist with meetings with prep, agenda, notes, and recaps· Manage comp and sample inventory, requests and deliveries.This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.SKILLS, QUALITIES AND BEHAVIOURS· 3+ years of experience working in beauty, preferably in a marketing role. · Passion for fragrance/beauty and current trends · Experience working with Sephora is a plus.· Proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) preferred. · Have a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational, written, and communication skills· Resourceful with ability to prioritize, multi-task and anticipate needs and requests. · Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills· High energy, positive, flexible, entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude · Domestic and international travel may be required· Must be based in the greater NYC area and work in NYO 4 days a week (5 days as needed).
