Mainframe Security Engineer - Encryption

Huxley is partnered with a leading investment bank that is looking for a Security Engineer to focus on Mainframe Security encryption. This person will architect security solutions, perform encryption assessments, and develop Mainframe security policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer Mainframe security solutions for data encryption, authorization (RACF, TSS), and authentication (Kerberos, Digital Certificates).
  • Standardize and automate Mainframe architecture environment.
  • Install and integrate new security technology releases.
Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' working experience on the Mainframe, with recent experience in Security.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree.
  • Strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, data encryption, Kerberos, SSL, SSH, etc.
  • Background in Mainframe security software configurations (TSS, RACF).
  • Ability to program in a Mainframe language (CARLA, CLIST, REXX, SAS).
  • Experience with DevOps and automation best practices preferred.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. The role can be fully remote from within the US (must already be located in the US) but would work in the Eastern Time Zone.
