- Manages and administers the day-to-day operations of the Local and Wide Area Network and VoIP systems.
- Provide design, engineering, and architectural support to manage the network infrastructure, including technical requirements, analysis, design, and implementation of WAN, LAN, and VoIP.
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain all Aruba switches, Mist and Ubiquiti Wireless Access Points, and Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls.
- Be a member of the Office365 security team.
- Provide Level 2/3 network support and troubleshooting.
- Analyse existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the infrastructure.
- Establish pro-active monitoring & optimal network performance.
- Maintenance and management of remaining on prem infrastructure (firewalls, servers, networks etc)
- 2nd line infrastructure support
- Out of hours on call supporting 24x7 operating business
- Assist in the creation of Commercial and Residential property technology standards.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of network, firewalls, telco, and security systems in new build or purchased properties based on our property technology standards.
- Assist in vendor management (Low Voltage, Security, etc.)
- MUST be open and agile to handle day to day and business as usual tasks including Service Desk that may fall outside of networking responsibilities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Experience in Physical Networking including Toner/Probe, Punch Down Tools, Terminations, and Cable Management.
- Network Routing and Switch Configuration including VLAN/Segmentation and Network Troubleshooting.
- VMware, Veeam, Aruba Switches/Aruba Central, Fibre switches, Network Technologies, Firewalls.
- Telephony (3CX PBX / Mobile / VOIP).
- A/V systems (audio-visual)including Teams Rooms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft365, Azure and AWS.
- Azure Active Directory Azure and On-Premises Active Directory, GPO.
- Experience with Microsoft authentication and single sign-on tools.
- Knowledge of property management / security / access control tools including PassagePoint, Building Intelligence, Workspeed, CCure, and Exacq is a plus but not required.
- A degree in computer science or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of proven in-depth infrastructure experience is preferred
