The Head of Institutional ETF Sales Strategy provides ETF subject matter expertise in support of the US SSGA Client Coverage Group. The role is based in New York, NY or Boston, MA.The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive ETF expertise across due diligence, capital markets, and research. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Institutional ETF use cases including but not limited to liquidity management, transition management, and related derivatives. As pioneers in index, ETF, and ESG investing, we are always inventing new ways to invest.Join us if making your mark in the asset management industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forBe responsible for providing ETF and investment subject matter expertise for SSGA's US Client Coverage GroupHave significant client-facing engagement across U.S. client channelsUnderstand the US Institutional market as it relates to ETF use-casesUse strong investment merits to enhance the product positioning of SPDR ETF family of ETFsDeliver thought leadership related to ETFs place in institutional portfolios and how ETFs can help deliver on investment outcomesDeep understanding of the SSGA ETF range, competitive landscape, industry trends, and product attributesWhat we value ETF capital markets, trading, and/or derivative trading experienceThe ability to discuss cross-asset investment concepts, as well as have a considerable understanding of portfolio construction techniques and approaches with both cash and derivative instruments A complete understanding of the benefits of the ETF structure and how it functions in the secondary and primary marketsA background in listed derivatives and their role in financial markets as well as practical portfolio usageStrong communications skills for frequent external and internal presentations.The capacity to develop and sustain strong working partnerships with our marketing, product and investment teamsEducation & Preferred QualificationsMinimum 10 years of investment experienceCFA or CAIA, and/or MBA preferredETF and/or derivative trading experience preferredCurrent securities licenses (Series 7, 63, and 24) preferred or the ability to attainClean compliance and U4 record requiredKnowledge of Bloomberg API functionalityIn-depth knowledge of ETFs and competing investment vehicles-Excellent communication and written skillsAbility to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders-Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong team orientationAvailable for travel 25-50%Are you the right candidate?
