This role will be the Finance Programs leader for the recently merged Hardlines and Softlines Private Brands Finance teams, managing strategic projects across the two product families, driving the integration of the reporting and planning processes, and supporting business leaders with actionable insights and recommendations to achieve our goals and initiatives.The pace and growth of the business along with its unique business model, make this an attractive role for someone looking to demonstrate themselves, and make a big impact to the business.The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, a collaborative leader to work with a dynamic network of Business and Finance partners, and an innovator to drive continuous improvement and automation in P&L analysis, planning and reporting processes. He/she enjoys working with a diverse group of individuals, and have a proven ability to dive deep to solve complex business and finance problems.Key job responsibilitiesDrive the integration and optimization of Finance and Finance-to-Business processes across two product families - Hardlines and Softlines, as follows.Create meaningful reporting and analysis structure that will drive business improvements and recommend cost reductionsRecommend, develop and implement financial controllership tools to guide our business partners in achieving our OP2 topline and profitability goalsWork with partner teams including category finance to deliver continuous improvements to worldwide planning and reporting processesPartner with the central Business Intelligence team to standardize and centralize key business performance metrics.Provide Finance leadership for strategic growth and cost reduction projects in partnership with relevant business owners.Basic Qualifications

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

MBA, or CPA

Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
