The Associate Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Asset Management job provides investment and analytical expertise to Individual/Trust Account Portfolio Managers to help optimize the investment performance of client portfolios. Under limited supervision, this job conducts complex market and industry analysis to best inform wealth management decisions and to align client investment objectives and risk profiles with portfolio decisions.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Monitors wealth management databases, maintains client records and conducts ad-hoc research as requested by management team.
Manages existing portfolio assets and reviews adherence to client's investment policy statement on a regular basis.
Supervises operational matters, including portfolio rebalancing activities, and resolves client service issues as needed.
Provides recommendations for portfolio adjustments to grow profit based on industry trends identified through market and risk analysis.
Develops analytical reports on trust portfolio status for clients and management team to update and create alignment between the two parties.
Partners with Portfolio Managers in the execution and verification of stock, bond and fund trading to optimize clients' investment portfolios.
Executes loss forecasting analysis for client portfolios to determine potential risk of individual portfolios.
Maintains detailed, updated knowledge of capital markets and the investment management industry to make informed decisions and implement best practices.
