Job DescriptionThis unit will work in collaboration with Property Management by providing support through the conversion process of The Trust. This unit will also work closely with various NYCHA departments to ensure the completion of all tasks related to the final conversion of the Trust properties.

Train end-users on reports and dashboards.

Prepare evaluation reports, analyze documents, and track programs concerning the resolution of tenancy related issues.

Assist Trust developments in reducing open and pending of annual and interim recertification's in the Siebel System.

Supervise Trust Conversion Liaison Assistant activities.

Represent department at Trust conversion meetings.

Travel to Trust developments throughout NYCHA’s portfolio.

Respond to inquiries, conduct research, and offer support to the Trust management office.

Work closely with Development staff to ensure timely completion and/or resolution of Trust conversion activities.

Communicate with or respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Update and maintain Trust conversion checklists and reporting.

Complete special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and prepare relevant reports or presentations as assigned.

Due to the existence of a civil service list, candidates must have permanent civil service status in the title of Assistant Housing Manager to apply.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and one year of full-time satisfactory supervisory and/or administrative experience in housing management at a development or developments containing at least 150 apartments, including overseeing the performance of duties such as: interviewing applicants; determining eligibility; gathering and evaluating information to resolve complaints; collecting rents; and/or resolving tenant related problems; or

A four -year high school diploma or its educational equivalent, and five years of the full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above; or

A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience as described in "1" or "2" above. Undergraduate college credits may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of full time satisfactory experience. However, all candidates must have a four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent.
