Req Number 153334FlexStaff is hiring an Administrative Assistant for our client in higher ed, to support the Office of Human Research Affairs department. This will be a temp-to-perm position. The hours are 9:00-5:30pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. You will be required to work 100% on site in the Bronx location.Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Director with scheduling, preparing letters/meeting materials, booking rooms, and submitting expenses.
Answer all phones for the department as well as respond to general email inquiries.
Manage all departmental invoices.
Coordinate monthly staff meetings (agenda, room assignment, guest speaker confirmation, etc.).
Handle the ordering of all office supplies.
Oversee logistics for all new hires, such as coordinating phone/computer setup, parking passes, onboarding, etc.).
Bilingual Spanish speaking will be a desired skill, but not required.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative support role.
Excellent communication skills.
Working in a higher ed environment is highly desired.
MS Office proficiency.
High School diploma.
