Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are offering a part-time contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in New York. This role will be about 30 hours/week and falls within the financial industry and focuses on processing, maintaining, and monitoring financial data and records. The workplace environment is dynamic, and the job function revolves around managing revenue reports, royalty statements, and other accounting documents. Responsibilities: Accurately process and maintain customer credit applications Handle data entry tasks with precision and speed Prepare monthly and quarterly Developer Revenue Share Statements Assist in the preparation of licensor royalty share statements Utilize Sage Intacct software for accounting purposes Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on the data Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting Learn and adapt quickly to new accounting procedures and practices Provide support in the resolution of customer inquiries Undertake any additional duties as assigned to support the accounting teamRequirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proficiency in Data Entry and Revenue Reporting Experience with Sage Intacct software is an advantage Knowledge of creating and interpreting Royalty Statements Demonstrable understanding of financial and accounting principles Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
